head for the hills

does this thing still exist? i suppose myspace has taken over  the spotlight. now everyone just wants to look at pictures instead of reading people's boring thoughts i guess. perhaps one day there will be a xanga renaissance and whiny self-deprication will rule over calculated image-building again !  long live tha ego!

"the flip side of paradise"

sooooo.....

home. what to say? left school at 4 30 am, after finishing packing around 3 15 am... thanks to viva la fox. who i will not see till sr year... as well as any other 07s. it was so weird saying goodbye. half of college is over. to 05,06,08s- have a great summer, see you... never? goodbye N England... for a bit. gotta check out the other coast... whats west will become east. its so freakin hot here. lethargic. my hairs back to its typical hilo type smother effect. always have prior home ambitions that turn into lazing around. i blame the weather. sister was here when i got home... leaving tonight. not quite looking forward to it being just the three of us again. got to register for SFAI classes at 11. last night revelations... family thought i was just tired. i was tired, also realized that this might have to be the last full summer in hilo. 4 months just may be too long now. really need a job. home is exactly how i left it in january. i guess the fact that hilo never changes can be comforting, but messes with your mind. did the last two years of my life really happen? was i really an ending college soph in mass 2 days ago? just need some time to adjust i guess. cant run away from things anymore. tired of thinking. worked hard this year. need a vacation damnit... a real one. coming home to hawaii doesnt really count cause its home. need some $$. and some passion orange juice... that will make it better. and the much awaited reunion with the OSDeli... ebi ten roll here i come

"you owe me an iou"

okay so i lied when i said to be continued, but dont worry you didnt miss much about spring break, unless you count the events at a sketchy bar in chinatown (which i'd rather not recount) and oh yea, the psychic. however, i believe it was spiderman who said, "there are bigger things here than the events of spring break." wise words, spidey.

in any case, since then i have done major amts of schoolwork and have had the dannymeister visit for a week, which was tres vair awesome. i managed to get him into the dining room for a whole week without swiping my card, thanks to my cleveroisity. also, major sushifest that week. niiiice touch.

so it is finally getting to be spring around these parts (even tho the trees are still dead.)... let me just say that 50 degrees is like beach weather after living in ice palace for 5 months. and last weekend i discovered that sunburn in massachusetts is surprisingly not a paradox. it can happen. to you. and me apparently (i am half white, alas.)

so back to the spidey theme. it turns that i will be going to san francisco next year. about a week before spring break i decided that i dont want to be here next year, and since i decided not to go abroad to europe like everyone else... hm what to do... so i applied to art school. and i got in. so im going. and then i threw the midget out the window. haha... i dont even know any midgets. but yeah i havent decided which one to go to yet... san francisco art institute or california college of the arts. also my plan is to come back to smith for sr year... for now anyway. although i didnt tell the art schools that... oopsy... haha.
SOOOO...... yeah. ART SCHOOL ANYONE? im so freaking out of my mind. its gonna be a ride i tell ya. oh and all you west coast pacific type people... THE CHEESE HAS LANDED. almost. vair soooooon

spring break 05: monday.

holy shit, its only monday?? i have lost all sense of time. lets see what i have learned in the past three days:

1. traveling in the snow sucks. the 2 1/2 minute cab from the bus station to the train station is freaking worth it.

2. having 300+ tv channels really makes ur brain feel squishy and you start making noises, not words. desperate housewives marathons are great. also watching it upside down is funny.

3. who knew that seeing cans of spam and vienna sausage in a cabinet would be this comforting?

4. one word: RICE.

5. keaukaha and 4 miles beach is not the ghetto. jersey is the ghetto. bring it on, mokes!

6. White Castle is the most fascinating restaurant idea ever. MINI SQUARE BURGERS!! mind twisting!! also, tastes like crap. and the one in jersey city has plexiglass windows between the workers and customers. you have to order thru the hole in the glass like in a bank. i kid you not.

7. new york is too freaking expensive. i wouldnt buy that shirt even if i had the 120 dollars!

8. okay, maybe i would.

9. falling down in front of a populated starbucks window is apparently THAT funny. ok guys, get it out of your system already. haa haa haa shall we take a picture?

10. according to my bus ticket, my new name is ANGEL SHUQUIBAL. might as well be shaniqua shuquibal. lafawnduh? hahahaaaa

to be continuuuedd....
